Whether you require a conference or meeting room in Kent for 2 or 200 delegates the East Malling Conference Centre has a variety of conference and meeting rooms to suit your requirements, with additional breakout areas available too.
Orchard Room
The prestigious Orchard Suite is located on the ground floor of the main East Malling Conference Centre and can seat up to 200 delegates. With a large stage area hosting a lectern with full simple to use AV equipment, stage lighting and seating, the room is suitable for AGM’s, exhibitions, product launches or large corporate presentations. The Orchard Suite has some natural daylight, air conditioning, adjustable lighting and is pillar free. A large partition wall can be used to divide the room in half providing an additional breakout area to the rear of the room.
Upgraded in January 2010 is our state of the art AV equipment which provides a 4 x 3 metre electronic screen and 3700 lumen projector. Alongside this is a 16 port control panel providing presenters with the ability to switch between presentations and DVD shows all at the touch of a button and all included in the price!
Foyer
Located outside of the Orchard Suite is a 130 square metre foyer with apex ceilings, providing a relaxing break out area in which to have refreshments served when using the Orchard Suite.
Alternatively, this area can be used for exhibitions.
Thomas Neame Room
Our second largest conference and meeting room is located on the ground floor adjacent to the main conference centre and can host meetings up to 100 delegates. With lots of natural daylight, fully integrated AV equipment and pillar free this makes for a less formal setting and is particularly suited to larger training sessions, board meetings and workshops.
Garden Room
Perhaps our most popular conference and meeting room, the Garden Room faces out onto beautifully landscaped gardens and is located on the ground floor of the East Malling Conference Centre. Natural daylight pours in from large south facing windows, providing a cosy atmosphere for any type of meeting, training or conference event. With full air conditioning and pillar free, the Garden Room can seat up to 60 delegates theatre style however is frequently used for board meetings and workshops in a cabaret layout for up to 35.
Portable AV equipment is available for use in this room and is included complimentary with the delegate rate. Our events co-ordinator will organise and set up all AV equipment for you on arrival ensuring you are comfortable with how the equipment works.
Pippin Suite
Also facing out onto our beautifully landscaped gardens is the Pippin Suite. Slightly smaller in size than the Garden Room this is also located on the ground floor of the main conference centre & benefits from lots of natural daylight. Seating up to 30 delegates this is a flexible room with partition walls which can separate the room into two smaller syndicate rooms.
Pippin Room 1 & 2
Available to hire as stand alone meeting rooms, Pippin Room 1 & 2 comfortably seat 10 delegates in a board room layout. Pippin 1 has views on to landscaped gardens and both rooms are light and airy.
Bramley’s Restaurant & Conservatory
Our large light and airy restaurant is available to use for networking lunches and is suitable for up to 250 delegates. From the restaurant there is access out onto the patio area and gardens with additional seating. As a matter of course buffet lunches for any event over 50 delegates will be served in our restaurant. For hot lunches, there is seating for 130 plus XX can be seated in our beautiful conservatory which looks out onto wonderfully landscaped gardens.
With our own in-house catering team, all our food is prepared fresh on site each day using only the freshest ingredients. Where possible, we source local foods to help support local businesses.
